Simulation
ATS now has the ability to simulate your aircraft with its six degree of freedom simulator. Customer provided or ATS generated data can be quickly integrated into a pilot flown simulation for an investigation of handling qualities, stability and control, or the suitability of the configuration for certification.
The simulation database can be built a number of ways. For a preliminary database we can import and convert data tables used on other simulation platforms. If no data for a new configuration exists we can populate the derivative tables with data from vortex-lattice or other CFD codes. This can be supplemented with data obtained from wind tunnel and flight tests resulting in a full non-linear simulation.
Once the database is built and developed by ATS we can export the simulation database to a number of other major simulation data formats for re-hosting on other simulation platforms, if that need exists. Let ATS help you with your simulations needs.
